Travis Sherrock: It depends on the insurance and the state you live in. Companies based in NJ have to cover ivf, in most circumstances but i don't believe they have to in NY. Also, some companies chose to offer more benefits. We had full ivf coverage, but luckily didn't need it. Call your insurance company for a full list of benefits.

Rebeca Mckin: i would assume no, most insurances dont cover any of that since its not a medical necessity to have children. My insurance does cover infertility but that isn't the norm. Mine covers $30,000 or 3 IVF, i have Aetna insurance. Just give them a call to find out, they will tell you. Good luck. I have talked to many woman who said they remortgaged their houses or took out loans to pay for the treatment, it gets really expensive. I am going thru IUI and the meds alone f! or one month was over $1500.00 without insurance, then each time i go its $500 and i go every 3rd day of my cycle then the actual IUI will be over $1,000.00 - I am very thankful that my insurance covers cuz without we wouldn't be able to do it....Show more
Joey Mekeel: IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Indian Med Guru Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.They also have photos pasted of their International patients. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The s! urgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. My cousi! n got her IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Indian Med Guru Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her.
