Barton Slisz: you either have to be a full time alien resident status (green card) or have a temporary work visa. the work visa can only be obtained by your employer, and only for certain impacted jobs. A work visa is temporary, and is not an authorization to live in the USA beyond your employment period. ESTA is a 90 day visit visa, it does not allow you to take employment, although there can be a business purpose to your travel. so the answer is no, you don't have the legal right to work in the USA...Show more
