Ayesha Genova: Lol... I entered my question in green living. I didn't even realize that is what I did. Thanks for your kind answers. I will repost in an auto repair area.
Loise Mausser: I talked to my husband and he said a small hole sounds unusual and probably is not related to the overheat. A crack would be more likely and is a serious problem. I suppose you could try jb weld, as some people use it on radiators and that is a high pressure environment. Not highly recommended and could perhaps cause additional problems. BTW: Maybe you could get more informed answers in ! another section of Yahoo answers. Green living isn't necessarily where all the auto mechanics hang out. ;) try cars and transportation/maintenance and repair. Good luck!...Show more

Roxane Leathers: It sounds like you cracked your engine block. JB Weld isn't going to fix it.
Phil Kuarez: It sounds like you have a major problem. I really don't think that JB Weld is going to fix this. It sounds like you may have a cracked block.Best advice is to go to a mechanic and get them to check it out.
