While I realize your frustration, it seems to me that the person had "first dibs" on the machines since he/she had already started their laundry. It sounds like the person had multiple loads of wash an! d was just trying to get them finished up. Your baskets to "claim" the machine as next in line apparently didn't apply until the original user was done with all his or her laundry.I may be wrong. I'll be interested to hear others' opinions.I think I would just ignore the incident and not send the note. It may cause hard feelings, and when you live in a building with shared facilities, I think it's important to get along with everyone. As far as keeping your whites white... you got me lost on that one. You said you were using bleach, so I don't know what else you're supposed to do. For me, I avoid having white clothing unless it's underwear, cause white shows too much dirt and stains. I've never worried if my underwear was lily white or not.
