Saran Stealy: Those box systems are "disk players" not AV Receivers. You gave up the ability to connect other things to it for the low price.This is why we never recommend those systems - you cannot do anything but play disks on it.
Rubye Bonnin: The current standard is to have an optical connection from the TV to the audio system. The problem with all in one HTiB home theater systems is that they don't always have an input. Check for this, you should find an audio optical output on the TV and an optical audio input on the audio system. If the audio system does not have this input or at least some kind of digital input, you simply can't use it.
